Connect Dropbox and copy uploads

Available onProBusiness

Open Settings → Integrations → Dropbox Integration. Check that the selected personal or organization context is the one intended for the connection.

Use the connection control and complete Dropbox’s authorization prompts for the intended account. Return to Stago and confirm that Dropbox shows as connected.

Review the offered copying options, including automatic copying of uploads, and save the settings. Check the destination account’s available space before relying on automated copies.

Use the Dropbox action offered for the uploaded material, or the configured automatic-copy behavior. Wait for the result and verify that the intended file appears in Dropbox.

A copy is another file in another service. Editing or deleting a Stago draft doesn’t mean every previously copied Dropbox file changes with it. Use the source project’s version and approval state to identify the final material.

Disconnect from the integration settings when the account should no longer be connected. Files already copied to Dropbox aren’t erased by disconnecting.

If copying fails, check the connection, Dropbox storage, the selected file, and permissions. Reconnect when the authorization has expired or been revoked. Avoid repeated copy attempts until you’ve checked whether an earlier attempt already created a file.

Saving a Dropbox URL in a Link stage is different from using the integration to copy an upload. An external URL keeps Dropbox’s sharing rules; a Stago portal invitation doesn’t grant access to a restricted Dropbox file.
