Troubleshooting and common questions

Check the preceding work in Strict workflow or every prerequisite in Flow. A reopened earlier stage can lock later work again. See locked-stage guidance.

Check content type, format, file/storage limits, current permissions, and processing state. Word needs download rather than inline preview. See upload troubleshooting.

Why can’t the client see the project or review?

Section titled “Why can’t the client see the project or review?”

Check portal project attachment and visibility, upload/review-stage visibility, and the client’s actual link. An expired, revoked, or restricted link needs the owner’s attention. See client access.

Check the current draft/document state, saved edits, role and Approver assignment, and revision limit. An approved or final-revision item can offer different controls. See review and approval.

Use the selected draft’s download control when allowed. The latest version isn’t necessarily the approved release. See versions and delivery.

Check the owning workspace’s plan, active personal/organization context, your role, and read-only account state. Your own personal subscription doesn’t necessarily set the project’s allowances. See plans and permissions.

Check channel settings, connections, quiet hours, browser/OS permission for Push, and the recipient address/spam folder for email. See notifications.

Why did an AI tool reserve or spend credits?

Section titled “Why did an AI tool reserve or spend credits?”

Read the job’s final status and credit history. A reservation can differ from the final charge, and regeneration can start another operation. See credits and usage.

Check personal/organization scope, folders, status filters, membership, and Library versus Project Files. For old versions, inspect Storage & Trash.

Use the feedback control available in Settings. Include the action, content type, browser, approximate time, and visible error. Redact client material and private details from screenshots; never include passwords, sign-in links, or API tokens.
